teaching experience. Eric has a Bachelor of Arts in music performance on string bass, with which I have had over 29 years experience performing and is a special kind of individual known as a “catalyst,” which he has over 29 years experience doing. Eric has enjoyed over 29 years experience as a pit band bassist doing musical theater.

 

 

Eric has performed in various plays, jazz concerts, weddings, and bands over the past 28 years. Some of the people he has had the pleasure of playing with are; Dr. Yoon Il Auh, Jack Bruske (RIP), 
Charlie Brown (RIP), Dr. William Howell, Jeff Hall, Dr. Jane Girdham, Dr. Eric Nisula, Maynard Ferguson, Jim Martinez, Michael Brush, Tony Rongo (RIP), Vincent Gaskew, Gerald Cameron, and Terry Newman. He has enjoyed the pleasure of playing double bass with SVSU’s Forever Strings String Orchestra for 7 years.

 

Some of the more popular people Eric has been blessed to have opened up for thus far in his career are; Bobby Blue Bland, with Sharrie Williams and the Wiseguys; Wayne Newton, with Classic Graffitti; and Larry McCray, with  Swaggering Rogues.
