SOUTHERN THUMB

He has studied privately with names such as Randy Gillespe, Robert Hohner, Keith Dudek, Allison Shaw and Fransisco Mora.  Dave has been a percussion judge for many M.C.B.D.A. marching bands and indoor drumline competitions.  

 

Dave has played professionally in several rock, funk, jazz, and country groups over the years.  These include The Heebie GB's, Jive Dharma, Soulstice, Trancemitter, Jamie Sue Seal & The Icebreakers, The Last Hippie Band, The Brouhard Quartet, The Mega 80's, Midtown Underground, and the Frank 
Zappa tribute band: Ugly Radio Rebellion.

Dave currently teaches at both Huber and Breese as well as Southern Thumb Music and plays professionally in the bands Blues Market and Continuum Jazz Ensemble.
